Oman’s Air Conditioner Market Outlook to register healthy growth rate owing to Government’s Push for Public-Private Partnerships in Building and Infrastructure Projects - 6Wresearch

Oman’s construction industry outlook remains healthy and is set to drive the sales of air conditioning systems over the coming years as there exist a constant flow of public projects as well as sustained demand for high-quality private real estate projects.

According to 6Wresearch, Oman Air Conditioner market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 5.8% during 2017-23. To decrease its dependency on oil, the sultanate is making provisions against ongoing or further drop in oil prices by investing more than $50 billion on infrastructural projects over the next 15 years, with $20 billion amount earmarked for the transportation sector alone.

Additionally, government’s push for Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) is likely to increase private sector investments in the infrastructural development activities.
