Despite increased awareness among Indonesia farmers about the benefits of using mechanical tools like those offered by agricultural balers, high upfront purchase cost still remains a key challenge hampering widespread adoption among smallholder farmers who lack access to financing options or capital investments needed for buying these machines at commercial rates. Inadequate technical know-how required to operate these complex systems also tends to limit usage amongst rural communities where skilled manpower may not be available locally or accessible affordably enough when outsourcing services from third-party contractors becomes necessary.
